A strange signal is is intercepted by military listening stations in the Arctic. The source is from a Russian archipelago. The British Prime Minister’s son and a celebrity naturalist vanish on the same archipelago whilst filming a nature documentary. MI6 send operatives to find the source of the signal and what happened to the two missing men. Their search finds the PM’s son and the naturalist but also reveals an all powerful Russian weapon soon to be released that will change the balance of world power. After a series of escapades pursued by the Russians through rugged mountain terrain, they make a desperate bid to escape despite a shocking incident the threatens the whole operation.
